Given by Mild Mannered Pate in Earthen Peak if you summoned him for the Last Giant boss fight. He has to survive the fight.  
Alternatively kill Pate and he will drop it.

Sold by Grave Warden Agdayne for 9,000 souls.

**Ring of Thorns +2**

Invade and defeat the host player of other worlds 1,000 times.
