A ghostly entity that drifts through the Dark Chasm. Although its true nature and origins are entirely obscure, its twisted root-like appearance is somehow familiar…¹

• An excellent source for farming Bonfire Ascetics.
• Forest Spirit (Staff) uses a large amount of ranged magic. It is advised to use a high magic resistance shield when fighting them as well as Small Blue Burrs.
• Forest Spirit (Chime) uses a large amount of ranged lightning and physical miracles. It is advised to use a high Lightning resistance shield with decent physical block and stability when fighting them as well as Small Yellow Burrs.
• Forest Spirit (Chime) can heal themselves as well as other enemies, making them high priority is advisable.
• Forest Spirit (Chime) uses Emit Force, which is incredibly deadly in a place like the Dark Chasm.
• Though difficult to pull off, this enemy can actually be backstabbed.

Found near the Lower Garrion bonfire.

• Average against Slash, Strike and Thrust-Type Attacks
• Ghost Form, takes 50% less damage from Physical Attacks
