This class is intended for players who wish to use sorceries and pursue an intelligence-focused build.

The Sorcerer has good starting Intelligence and Attunement. This is the class to choose if you want to focus on Sorcery from the very beginning of the game. On the other hand, extremely low Strength and low Dexterity will make basic melee combat very challenging. If you do not improve your Strength quickly, you will not be able to use much more than your basic Dagger. Still, starting with a Sorcerer's Staff and Soul Arrow is a major boon early in the game. Weapons that scale with Intelligence can make a Sorcerer a very capable melee fighter if he invests in the minimum Strength and Dexterity to wield them.
