The missing body of Head of Vengarl. He dual wields the Red Rust Sword and the Red Rust Scimitar.

Location

Lord's Private Chamber
He guards the Primal Bonfire reached after the Duke's Dear Freja boss fight. Only in Dark Souls II.

Shaded Woods
Located where the Golden Lion Warrior previously was, blocked on either side by petrified Lion Warriors. Only in Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin.

Strategies

Try ranged weapons or poison if you have trouble with him.
He has very poor turning and tends to be locked in a direction when he attacks. Finding opportunities to backstab him should be easy.

Notes

After defeating him, Head of Vengarl will sell the Red Rust Sword, Red Rust Scimitar and Red Rust Shield and he will be summonable as an NPC phantom.
Though he is much larger than most other humanoid enemies in the game, he can still be backstabbed. He can be parried and riposted as well.
